Two of Old Glory's players, hooker Mikey Sosene-Feagai and number eight Jamason Fa'anana-Schultz, were among the starters in Sunday's match against England. While the Eagles weren't able to come away with a win, their performance was dramatically better than most people predicted.

Sosene-Feagai started at hooker, putting in 48 minutes of solid rugby. In his seventh appearance for the Eagles, he proved himself a consistent and capable player. He probably won't show up on a highlight reel, but he held his own against his English counterparts.

His teammate Jamason Fa'anana-Schultz, meanwhile, will definitely show up in the highlights. In his fourth appearance for the national team, he broke off the back of a maul to score the Eagles' first try of the match. Though he plays number 8 for Old Glory, he played as a flanker in the number 6 jersey for this match. Despite this position change, he handled the match well.

Team USA will next play Ireland on Saturday. Hopefully, we'll get to see Mike Dabulas become the third DC player to get capped on this tour. He has traveled with the team, but wasn't used in this match.
