Old Glory front-rowers Mikey Sosene-Feagai and Jamie Dever are heading to Europe on temporary contracts as medical jokers. Both contracts expire before the 2022 Major League Rugby season, meaning both players could well be back with Old Glory. However, if they impress in their new roles, there is a chance that they could be signed on for a longer term.

Sosene-Feagai will be going to play for Toulon in the Top 14, the highest tier of rugby in France. He's stepping in for hooker Christopher Tolofua, who's knee injury is expected to keep him out until January. Jamie Dever, meanwhile, has signed with the London Irish in the English Premiership. He is one of two props being brought in to cover the absence of Facundo Gigena, who will be with Argentina's national team until the end of the November test window.

This is an amazing opportunity for both players, as they will be training and likely seeing match time in two of the best rugby competitions in the world. Both players started for almost all Old Glory's matches this year, and were pivotal in turning around the scrum this year. If they return next year with some additional top-class experience, so much the better for Old Glory.
